here on DA!!

Severe greetings to all of you!!!
Before I get to the main subject of this journal entry, I want to thank everyone for being so patient with me as I chip away at all of my pending messages, deviations, etc. It's really been a slow process, but believe it or not ... I've actually been making great strides considering the status a few weeks ago!!

However, I'm still behind and it will also take me more time to get this all caught up!!

So, please just bear with me, okay??
Also, I want to thank everyone again or in advance for all of the

s, comments, and support you have given me ... you "guys" are all truly the best that DA has to offer!!

Now, here comes the good part .. I'm just sure everyone is dying to read this one for sure!!

I have been "tagged" by my dear friend

and here is the criteria associated with it ... I'm supposed to display these rules!!

1. Post these rules
2. Each tagged person should post 8 facts of themselves
3. Tagged people should write a journal/blog about these facts

WARNING ... I'm not very good at this, so please bear with me ...

Okay, here we go .........................................

1) I contracted pneumonia 3 times when I was a baby and almost died the 2nd time I had it!!

2) I've never been on a actual date until after I was married!!

3) I was a professional musician for about 13 years!!

4) My absolute favorite sport to watch is mens professional volleyball ... I myself played on 3 teams for about 2 years!!

5) About 30 years ago, I was almost killed in a auto accident!

6) I have little if any self-esteem whatsoever!!

7) I don't drink anything alcoholic, smoke, nor do any illegal drugs (in other words ... I'm very bland)!!

And 8) I've never been in an airplane .... ever!!

I tried to balance some positives and negatives to this task, so there you have it and feel free to comment on any of these facts if you wish!!

I guess now I'm supposed to tag 8 people of my choice, huh??

A Bit Of News

To all of my dear Friends and Family
here on DA!!

Hi everyone!!

I again hope everyone is doing well!!

Well, this time I want to update all you "guys" on what's going on lately with me, DA, and other things just in case you're interested!!

First, it again goes without saying ... I really do appreciate all of the

and support I've received from all of you even when I was gone and also apologize again for deserting you all like that ... it was very dumb of me!!

I've finally was able to get through all of the pending deviations that needed my attention from some time ago and you all are truly so very talented and should be proud of yourselves and your art forms!!

You all never cease to amaze me!!

I'm also am thinking about doing a mass deletion of old commentary!!

As I look back at some of the messages, etc., the content is kind of "too late" to answer or respond appropriately!! I haven't made a final decision about this yet because I kind of wanted to ask all of you what you thought about this!!

The fact is ... I right now have approximately 400 bodies of text to read and respond to and it will take a bit of time to get through this. However, I also said that if any of you ever took the time to write anything to me ... I would take the time to reply as well!! I think that it is only fair to all of you to do this!!

So, I'll see what happens especially because of the next paragraph!!

Lastly, I will now probably have more time to achieve the aforementioned because my employer (General Motors) announced that it will be shutting down the night shift at the plant that I work at and unfortunately ... I'll be one of the people going on an indefinite lay-off!!

I just hope and now

that I don't lose my job altogether ... it could be catastrophic to say the least!!

Anyway, in closing I again want to thank all of you for not aborting me and that I will be doing everything in my power to get caught up as soon as I can ... I really have made some substantial progress the past few days!!

To all of my dear Friends and Family
here on DA!!

Hi everyone!!

I hope that all of you are doing great, and that this journal entry is well accepted!!

Before I say anything else, please let it be known that I've truly missed all of you which I hope is mildly felt by you too. Things haven't really lightened up that much in terms of work, time (or lack of). However, me not being on DA has made it all more the difficult. I realize that me leaving DA and all of the wonderful people associated with it was a big mistake ... sometimes you really can't learn to appreciate who and what you have until it is no longer there!!

I HAVE checked my site from time to time in very small increments only to feel "guilty" of leaving to begin with!! Not to mention that even during my absence, I still seen some activity going on within my site ... I was really kind of surprised and flattered at the same time!!

I also know that many of you have sent best wishes to me through my wife Sandy

and I assure you that I was told of every word, thought, and wish that was sent to me and I thank her publicly for taking the time to do this even though she is so very busy with maintaining her own site ... thanks Dear!!

All of this leads me to why I'm making this entry ...
Right now, I will be basically back on DA to a very moderate level meaning that I'm going to start viewing what new work I still haven't yet seen and returning all of the communication sent to me regarding

s and anything else sent to me. However, I'm not going to get into the new journal postings until I'm back up to full speed on here!! I'm not happy about this, but I want to make sure that I attend to items of priority first.
In closing, I'm going to fully admit that I was wrong in leaving because it didn't solve anything ... just caused me more grief!!

I know that I too will not be able to keep up on everything all of the time, but I will just do my best and hope that all of you will understand and forgive me for my wrong doing!!

A Couple Of Things

To all of my dear Friends and Family here on DA!!

Hi everyone!!

I hope all of you are doing well out there and are happy!!

I just have a couple of things here ...
First, I want to formally welcome all of my new friends and/or watchers to my list ... I'm honored to meet all of you and looking forward to seeing your artistry at work!!! If you are new on my list or if anyone still wants to be on my birthday list, please let me know the date by any means that you wish!!
I again find myself going through all of the new work presented to me and being so backed-up as not to be able to comment on the work as I would like to!! I again want to sustain the fact that if I fave your work ... it's because I see something or many things that I truly love about the image!!!!! Trust me, all of you are to be commended on your work no matter what form it takes!!

However, I also want you to know that if I can comment more on something (time permitting), I will do so!!!!
Lastly, I'm faced again with the "journal" dilemma!!

I'm going to be very upfront with all of you ... I just cannot seem to get through them no matter what or how I try to do it!!! I know that there are many things that are expressed within them that have meaning and purpose to some degree, or why would you post them??? I even tried to look through them in some kind of chronological order, and that didn't work either!!

Which leads me to a question to all of you ... for the life of me, I can't get the entries to be displayed in any kind of order no matter what I do ... can anyone tell me how to remedy this or offer me some help???? I know you can list order on "activity", "comments", and "replies" pages, but not journals!!

Anyway, I tried to comment on a few that caught my eye, but I'm afraid that I'm going to again have to delete and start over again!!

I'm truly sorry about this, but so far ... I just don't have any answers to this issue yet!! I

that nobody aborts me over this!!
In closing, I again want to express my deepest thanks to all of you for your support and friendship ... it means very much to me and I hope that it lasts forever!!
