To all of my dear friends and family here on DA!!

Hi Everyone!! Hope you all are doing okay!!

I just had some thoughts floating around in my head about many things and with this being a journal and all ... what better place to vent thoughts, right??
I've been sitting here looking at this screen and thinking to myself, 'why am I really on DA?' Is it all supposed to be about everyone's presentation of their art forms?? Is it about the idea of self-promotion of my so-called artistry with a camera?? Is it about the idea of communication with others regarding all of these art forms and talent associated with them. Or is it possibly a place where people can use the art forms as a foundation for creating new friendships with others from all over the globe?? Or how about the idea of a place where people can have a place to achieve their work in case of an emergency where it could destroyed!! And which of these "possibilities" are good, bad, proper, immoral, etc.? To be honest with you ... I'm to a point that I don't really know anymore. Is all of this reality, or do we just accept it as a possibility of being "real"? I look at the front pages of most everyone and see the heading, "Friends List" and try to figure how this is defined in terms of this site. To me, friends who are recipients of some form of companionship reciprocated by others, by which are forms of relationships. Some people have "best friends" which is a higher caliber of companionship. Is this relevant to DA or is the definition different here and if so ... what is it??
I just get really confused a lot about things like this probably because I think too much and am too sensitive and stupid when it comes to social environments of any kind. I've always been told that I take everything way too seriously when it comes to situations and especially to people. I look at society as a continuous competitive struggle for acceptance from others. In other words ... I've got serious problems, huh??
If anyone is thinking, "Hey, you need to see a shrink or something" ... I've got you covered.
Anyway, as I said in the beginning of this little "book" ... I was just thinking and decided to post my thoughts. I hope that none of you object to my entry here ... I mean no harm nor disrespect to anyone because I see this all as being "real" whether it is or isn't. And if I really thought that all of this was a "joke", I wouldn't have taken the 2 hours to write all of this!!
Again, I hope I didn't make anyone mad nor think any less of me then what you believe me to be ... I was just speaking my mind (or what's left of it)!!
